This Privacy Policy governs your use of the mobile application Dozeflow: Sleep Sounds & Relax (referred to as the "App"), created and published by Galaxysurface ("we", "us", or "our"). This document explains our practices regarding data collection, usage, and disclosure when you use the App.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Dozeflow operates offline-first. We do not collect or store sensitive personal information such as:
- Your real name, postal address, or phone number
- Financial or credit card details
- Precise or approximate GPS location
- Biometric or health data
- Audio recordings from your microphone (microphone access is never requested)
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide core application functionality, the App stores preferences locally on your device using standard sandbox storage:
- Sound mix preferences: Volume sliders and active sound combinations
- Timer presets: Your chosen sleep timer duration
- Bedside settings: Candle flame mode, clock brightness, and theme preference
This data stays on your phone and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App or clear app storage.
4. Device Permissions
The App requests minimal Android system permissions strictly necessary to deliver audio features:
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Required by modern Android systems (Android 14+) to keep ambient sleep audio playing smoothly while your screen is locked or while using other applications.
- WAKE_LOCK: Prevents the operating system from terminating the gentle sound playback until your sleep timer expires.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Allows the App to display a playback control notification (Play, Pause, Stop) on your lock screen.
5. Third-Party Services and Analytics
Depending on app configuration and store distribution, standard non-identifiable technical metrics may be processed by trusted third-party SDKs:
- Google Play Services: Core store services and crash diagnostics.
- Google AdMob (if active): Non-personalized advertising identifiers to display occasional banner ads in accordance with Google Play Developer Policies. Users can reset their Advertising ID in device settings.
6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Dozeflow is designed for a general audience seeking sleep and relaxation. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can immediately delete it.
7. GDPR & CCPA Rights
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and California enjoy rights to access, rectification, portability, or deletion of personal data. Because Dozeflow does not maintain user accounts or personal profiles on remote servers, you can exercise total data deletion at any time simply by clearing app data in your device settings or uninstalling the application.
